half a century of vocational training
1970-1971
The beginning
- As a Master School in the abandoned hermitage of San Cristóbal de Repélega under the direction of the Brothers of La Salle.
1979-1980
The new building is fully operational.
- We teach specializations in electricity, mechanics, metal construction, administration, and drafting.
1986-1987
After five years under the Basque Government
- We began offering REM and experimental technical high school education.
1997-1998
As a result of the reforms brought about by the implementation of the LOGSE
- The Higher Level Training Cycles in Administration and Finance and Regulation and Control Systems are incorporated, as well as the Intermediate Level Training Cycles in Administrative Management, Machining, and Consumer Electronic Equipment.
1999-2000
We are expanding our training offering
- With advanced vocational training courses in Industrial Equipment Maintenance and Construction Project Application Development.
2003-2004
As a Specific Vocational Training Institute
ISO 9001:2000 certification is obtained.
2004-2005
We join the Berdintasuna equality project
Higher Level courses are now being offered: Development of Fluid, Thermal, and Maintenance and Transport Management Installation Projects; and Intermediate Level courses: Assembly and Maintenance of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Production Installations.
2005-2007
We continue to certify the quality of our services.
We first received the Silver Q and ISO 14000 Environmental certification. We joined the Agenda 21 project.
2009-2010
We consolidate training in the field of energy efficiency
With the addition of the Advanced Vocational Training course in Energy Efficiency and Solar Thermal Energy.
2015-2016
We have joined the network of Integrated Vocational Training Centers.
Completing the formal education offering with job training and corporate training.
2016-2017
The only vocational training center in the Basque Country to offer
a Higher Degree in Clinical Electromedicine
2023-2024
We are expanding our training offering With two specialization courses
- in Energy Audits and Railway Signaling and Telecommunications
- and an introductory training course in home maintenance.
2024-2025
Smart Center 5.0
- We have adopted the new management structures of the integrated smart vocational training centers 5.0, incorporating the Innovation, Strategy, and Operations Department together with the Executive Management Department.
